Serial Numbers

Postby Specky » Sat 10.03.2007, 21:35

I've just carried out a 15 minute fuel filter change.. :D

OK.. 2 hours to remove all the trim and put it back again...

When Noticed there's a serial number on the frame of the hood ...

now for the question does this number correspond to the number of the car when it was manufactured..

This serial no. was pointed out to me last year by Pete Randall at Trim Tech. I don't recall him saying there was any correlation. Might be worth contacting him for a definitive answer (he is the expert with the Elan hood)
