Lotus Elan Central

Following the success of the Hethel 40th open day, I have been asked by the nice ladies who produce the above magazine if we would like to submit any articles for inclusion in future issues. They are looking for special events such as road trips and tours etc, like the I.O.M trip, Joe's proposed Land's End to John O'Groats, the trip to The Ring etc etc. These can be single, family or group events so some of your holiday trips in your Elans would be welcome. I guess Costas blast to Donington last year would be ideal reading too.

If you have anything you would like to send, email it to me (with pictures) and I will collate the articles and forward on.

BTW the article DT has just done on the I.O.M tour has just been sent

Possibly ever so slightly in the wrong topic, but I couldn't find a closer one so it'll do!
I was just flicking through the January edition of Club Lotus News today while picking up my Elan from Peter Smith's (they made a lovely job of the bodywork by the way!), and a few interesting things caught my eye.
First was the rather nice picture of a red Elan +2 in front of the Senotaph on Nottingham's Trent Embankment.
Second was a picture with 2 M100's in it apparently at Castle Combe. The lead Elan was a NMY with S2 wheels - Gareth possibly? The other Elan was a PB - maybe Rip?
Third was a mention about Donington and the 20 year anniversary of the M100.
Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but I haven't seen any mention of it and am still catching up.
