Think it's a complete load of tosh - "
What lets the quietly impressive M100 down is its character, and for all its excellent, fail-safe handling and remarkable grip it does feel like a Peugeot 205 GTi in drag. That’s hardly a criticism as the lovely Pug is one of the greatest hot hatches ever made but you may not like, or want, a hot hatch feel in your sports car."I don't think he's found the capability of the M100 if he thinks that! I bought my son a 205GTI at the time I had my first SE and no way could you compare the two. When the 205GTi first appeared a performance car mag did a comparison to a Cooper S and said the S was better handling and quicker. So Cooper S better than M100... I don't think so.

Leave me alone, I think I know what I'm doing.

I was left with a lot of confusion as to what he was comparing with what and what his final decision was. I wish I could get paid for writing such fence sitting twaddle!

I had a pug 205 for years and its nothing like the Elan. The MX5 is nothing like the original Elan either, its not even light weight or good handling.
I doubt he actually drove an M100.
