Elan Buyer's Guide, Classic Car Buyer

Some of you will know that I've been working on a buyer's guide to the M100 for Classic Car Buyer. Copy has now been submitted and a four-page spread will appear in next week's issue, which hits the shelves on 1st March.

I've not seen the final version, as my original text had to be trimmed a little to fit. LEC should, however, get a mention.

Good colour for a 'garage queen' but they do show the dirt too much when used - in my opinion, of course. Each to their own. I'd like one in Suffolk Mud but Norfolk Mustard is probably closest but never found one to buy. First was Calypso Red that went pink so next was Pacific Blue, and then another Pacific Blue - I hoped my wife wouldn't notice there were two but she tells me I need a Seller's Guide, not a Buyer's Guide ...

Really? I'm going to have to buy it now!
I had a quick look at the M100 article, but as I'm not planning to buy one chose not to waste my money! I was in Cirencester Tesco waiting for someone to look over my shoulder so I could tell them there was a good example in the car park if they wanted to see one - but of course no one did, all that was peering over my shoulder was the Krispy Kreme doughnuts!

I had a quick look at the M100 article, but as I'm not planning to buy one chose not to waste my money! I got mine on the iPad app for £1.99 - wasn't in any of the local outlets in paper form.

Aw, a saving of 51p! I just picked it up in the local paper shop. Only had one though.

There's a couple of cracking cars in the article - a nice black one with a very shiny rear screen and a lovely NMY with hoops

You may also recognise the no. plate of the silver N/A

I really enjoyed the article and thought it was very positive.
The only thing I didn't agree with was it suggested that the standard brakes were adequate (as there should of been an "in" in front of adequate)

Only inadequate if improperly maintained
