The article states under £9k but advert states just under £11k
That's a helluva lot of inflation in a couple of days

Article quotes 165bhp and 0-60 time of 6.5 seconds which are figures for SE, but then talks about the S2 being more desirable without mentioning it's 8% heavier and Lotus only quoted 150 bhp and 6.7 seconds for the S2.
That means it's power to weight ratio is 85% that of an SE and it's 0-100mph was 18.6, against SE's 17.5 ... whatever happened to Chapman's 'add lightness'..?

The S2 is friendly to polar bears; the SE melts ice caps. Not sure if the cockpit of the Elan is polar bear friendly in size though so perhaps their preferred method of transport remains an ice sheet.
My wife's just divorced me because I wouldn't open the car door for her!
To be fair I panicked and swam straight for the surface.

I'm polar bear friendly - The SAS Survival Handbook told me "NEVER eat polar bear liver which can have lethal concentrations of vitamin A"...

more likely it would be eating mine!
