Yes I'm running one of RonR's dual chips in my 9239 SE, added the extra wires, an O2 sensor and went full 1499. Best mod ever imo

.
And yes, you're not alone in falling foul of those 'dinosaur' rear brakes. Jamie does a Honda type-R rear caliper upgrade - and the prospect of handbrake fail is now no longer an issue either...
Always good to get feedback too.

I'll PM you with more info & details.
CAS: In the M100's distributor-less ignition system the Cam Angle Sensor (CAS) sits on the end of the exhaust cam and sends signals to the ECU as the cam rotates. The ECU then decides when to fire the coils and how much fuel to inject. The timing's set by putting the ECU into service mode and rotating the CAS until the engine fires at 16 degrees BTDC.
BTW You don't need to set the CO Pot if you're Closed Loop, S2s don't even have one fitted.
Hi RonR.
please PM me as well for the information you need from me, so i can purchase the correct chip for my 1991 Elan. looking forward hearing from you, Br. Lars

MOT update, fitted new rear brake pads, adjusted calipers and cables
Passed with 20% efficiency so all good for the summer.
Ordered the Honda kit from Jamie so will fit before the next MOT
Thanks to all for help and feedback
This is a great community
