Powerflow exhaust backbox *SOLD*

Postby Kathryn » Wed 12.08.2015, 18:38

Backbox with oval tailpipe. Was on the car from 2008 to 2011 when the previous owner replaced it with a Piper. Its got a small dent in it and a few scratches.

Thought maybe I could offload it onto someone at Brands Hatch!
not sure about posting it cos it's rather heavy!

How much? Now there's a question! £50 ?

I've also just replaced my floor mats so if by any chance anyone wants the old ones you can have them for free. Passenger ones not too bad, drivers sides a bit worn and the Lotus logo is worn off. Seems a shame to chuck them!

Ill take the floor mats at brnads hatch, mine came without mats, i was thinking of buying some of bm bargains just for the sake of having something, but free and branded sounds like a better alternative :)

Kathryn,
I might be interested in the box if it's the right bore. Do you know what size it is?

My latest SE has a slightly bigger bore than OE but worked fine till recently . Think I've lost some back pressure as it's got nicely louder but I've now started suffering 'overboost' at full throttle and full boost. Probably need to do a bit of porting of the wastegate anyway but a new box may be an interim solution.

Ok, cool. I've not got the screwy bits to attach them to the carpet though, the passenger one wasn't fixed and the driver's side was attached with double-sided tape!

What day are you going cos I'm only going Sunday and I think you're going Saturday?!

Im going saturday and camping overnight, Not sure about what time ill leave on sunday, there is a small chance Ian can arrange room for one more.
or stay on the normal parking area and still walk around on sunday.

Im sure there will be someone on sunday that attends the West midlands meeting that will be willing to carry then if i dont get to see you personally.

You called?

not yet,
Was going to PM you on the topic but you beat me to it while I was checking Ian's reply on the brands hatch thread.

I'm likely to stay and meet up with other members Sunday morning, but in the event I decide To set off early can you do the "mail-man" job for me please ?

I havent checked the lists in the brands hatch topic but i would suspect there will be others from WM that will turn up.

That sounds quite wee  Have you measured the diameter with a ruler or calipers ?

Sounds like it my be a box to go on the OE system - I'll bring my digital calipers to Brands and we'll have a measure..

Tbh I was expecting it to be bigger. On the invoice it says ' to make cat back system OE style', so I'm guessing it is original size. :?: Wouldn't know what was on it previous to that.
