Hello all,
I've eventually got around to having some repairs done to my 95 Elan S2! I brought it down to the Algarve (Portugal) a few years ago, unfortunately I let it stand too long!!
I've got a problem with an obsolete part, it's a water pipe that runs between the rear of the turbo and engine. This pipe has corroded from the inside.
My mechanic down here has ordered required parts to get us back on the road from SJ in the UK, but this part is apparently obsolete.
Any ideas where this part could be sourced?
Alternatively I may be able to get one machined here, but an original part would be preferable!!

Is this what is required:
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 1133902018If so it is available in the UK eBay site for a further 22 days or buy it now, should clean up ok. It is actually two pipes (inlet and outlet) with a thin metal strip attaching the two together, they can be separated without any problems.

If that is the part, or even if it isn't, the pipes are identical on the Isuzu RS and there are a bunch of guys with those spares on isuzone.org. The site is a little less forgiving than this one so if I can help by posting a 'parts wanted' request let me know

Sounds like the radiator bypass pipe. Put "Coolant leak from water pump" (including the " at beginning and end) into search and it should bring up a thread about it, with photos.

Cheers guys, I'm awaiting the image of the part taken off back from my mechanic to see if this is a match.

Hi the ebay part is not the same. I've got some photos of the part needed, could you ask the guys on isuzone? How can I send you the images??
