My heater fan only works on speeds 3 and 4, reading the past posts the most likely cause is likely to be a bad resistor. I have been unable to find one for sale, are they available new?

Hi,
SJ Sportscars had them until recently. I hope they are still available!
The resistor is next to the heater fan, it's very easy to access (two pins to remove the glovebox, three screws for the blower and two screws for the resistor. And I am not even sure you actually need to remove the blower to remove the resistor, I can't remember the exact detail. But overall it's very easy anyway.)

Part is A100P6033S, currently showing as still available on SJ's but showing as obsolete on DeRoure. May be worth giving them a call to see if they still have 1 available. I seem to remember Geoff or someone making up some replacement resistor wires a few years ago?

Hi
It was the DeRoure site I went to which said the part was obsolete. Giniw said it was available from SJ so I ordered one last night.
Thanks all
