Lower Radiator Hose

Can anyone out there tell me how to remove the engine end of the lower radiator hose - looks impossible to me, jammed between the A/C compressor and the power steering pump.

Just to cheer everyone up, here's an irrelevant picture of the car doing good work on the weekend with my daughter. Whole trip was a bit risky as the upper radiator hose had a major fail the weekend before. I had a new set in transit (thanks SJ, they got here in time), but was worried that the other one would similarly fail.

Anyway, how on earth do I get to the hose? What needs to come off?

Congrats on the weekend work; they both look fabulous!

As to how to get that hose off...if I remember, the stock position to loosen the jubilee clamp is that you dive down right between the pwr steering pump and the oil dipstick/turbo bracket with either a really long flathead screw driver, or ratchet extension.

But when I put mine back on, I changed the orientation and I did it from under the car, kind of through the A/C compressor area because that way I could keep one hand on it while tightening with other so it stayed in place.

So it depends on who last touched it.
Flashlight and potentially getting the front end up so you can feel around from the underside could help confirm.

found a video clip of me doing it. Just a couple of seconds, showing how I got access to the jubilee. Once it was loose I was able to just work the hose off without having to remove anything else.
