bleed valve

I would be grateful to know how the bleed valve under the LH light pod is undone.

Mine seems to be round. I had hoped for a socket head of some sort, but I was wrong.

S2 if that makes any difference.

If it is the original radiator there's a slot in the top and a flat blade stubbly screwdriver will undo it.

and if it's too tight to do that way, a 'normal' (12-point) socket will fit on it, but I can't remember if it's 24mm or 27mm that you need. It shouldn't be too tight, otherwise you risk snapping the plastic head off.... and then you need to use an M12x1.5 bolt with a rubber 'O' ring (I had an old wheel bolt in mine as a 'temporary' fix for a couple of years).

I may be wrong, but I don’t recall my original S2 radiator having a bleed valve, just a blanking plug. I now have a CoolExperts set-up, so I can’t check (I’ve looked at the original post, but unfortunately the photo there doesn’t show the corners).

Mmm.......Mine looks suspiciously like a blanking plug.
