"Warm" air only...?

As a newbie I might be asking the obvious here, but with the fan running on its "coldest" setting, what sort of air temp should it be blowing out? I only seem to be able to get tepid warm even at night when the outside temperatures are falling. I know it's warm weather, but it is just a system thing and that's how it is or can it be sorted if it should be colder and what might the causes be? It's a non aircon Turbo 100SE...Thanks!

Probably the heater valve.

Since there is no aircon, then the temp should be the outside air temp PLUS whatever heat it picks up going through the intake in the front wheel opening and through the heater plenum - which even with the temp setting to full cold, is still a bit warmer due to engine heat and slight leakage at the heater valve. It certainly won't be any colder than the outside air.

You should make sure the vacuum hose is connected to the heater valve as if there is no vacuum, it "fails" to full heat mode.
