The AC compressor has a stubby check strap which links the top of the compressor with a threaded hole on the upper portion of the mounting bracket.
I (believe) I have lost mine. Can someone measure the dimension of this strap . . . . center hole to center hole. I'll fabricate something out of stainless steel.

i can help you, however, that wont happen until wednesday. im currently on a rather busy period and wont have time to check my AC car for anything under the bonnet

I measure it as two 10 mm bolt holes (drilled to 11 mm for clearance) that are spaced 47 mm from bolt center to center.
I found a suitable Isuzu part.
