Hi I'm new to the group as of today! Am based in Bedfordshire if anyone could recommend a friendly local club I'd appreciate it, would love to get out over the summer. I collect my elan soon and my husband has an evora and we have a child to go in each haha so child friendly events good to know about as well!

Welcome. How old are the children?

Some areas have LEC meets but in East Anglia and the Home Counties the most active club is The Lotus Forums, usually referred to as TLF, which covers all models so hubby's Evora will be in good company. LEC is dedicated to M100 Elan ownership but TLF welcomes any Lotus - quite a few M100 owners have other models too but usually the M100 is running and the other model(s) is/are 'a work in progress'.. so frequently there's a good turn out of M100's at TLF do's..

In winter they were meeting for Sunday breakfast and had a couple of meets at The London Gliding Club in Dunstable but now we are back in summer (ha.. ha.. 'sleet and snow' forecast!) we meet on the 2nd Thursday evening of each month in a pub... somewhere. I got lumbered with choosing the pub for 11th May and was proposing one of the pubs in Finchingfield, Essex... might be here, or nearby ..the finchingfield lion Postcode is CM7 4NN. You'll be most welcome but may have to toss a coin to see who stays to look after the kids..

TLF will also be at Duxford Air Museum Car Show on Sunday April 30th. 57 Lotus cars have filled all the allocated space in the Car Show but it's still a good day out for kids if they like cars, planes, tanks etc and a chance to meet other owners. 4 year olds will also fit into the boot of the Evora. No need to clutter up the +2 seat with them.
Makes it a lot quieter in the car too...

With both fitted neatly into the Evora, you can enjoy driving the Elan

Does the Evora has Isofix for the seat?
If i recall right, it can be quite a struggle to get the seat in the back up to the point where one of the front seats needs to be removed

Lol the boot size is amazing. Have owned the car four days now and absolutely love it. Apart from tonight I've locked the keys in the boot, whoopsie

Sorry for delayed reply but haven't used forums before so getting hang of it! It's a H reg SE in a dark green colour. Had it four days now and love it

Hi! Was it you that passed me on the way home with the Evora and Elise?

Hope you've got the keys out of the boot - we've all done it!!

Next event is Castle Combe at the end of the month. Looks like there's quite a few of us going.
