sent box/outbox

On submitting a reply to a PM, some of the replies are listed in the sent box, others go into the outbox.

Am I right in thinking the outboxed messages are yet to be sent? If so, why do they go there in the first place, and how do I then send them?

Andy,

PM's lurk around in the Outbox until they are opened by the recipient when they get moved to the Sent box. It is possible to forward PM's to your e-mail address so just because a message is in your Outbox doesn't mean they haven't been read.
