I doubt it will be the end for Lotus (lets hope not) the name alone has to be a tremendous investment for a major international car producer and the overall history of the company is second to none in the sports car field .The new models they still have on the drawing board ,the new Elan and Esprit could be put into production and put the company back on the right track .Lotus has been financially unstable for years it just wants some one who has the balls to take a gamble and grasp the nettle, lets watch this space .I personally don't think it will fold
