Problem Posting Photo

Postby Artaban » Sun 02.11.2014, 18:52

Just wanted to post a photo and tried two versions of it but neither worked; one was 480 width 640 height (69kb) and the other 240x320 (22kb). When I click add file it just says "Could not upload attachment to ..."
I'm using a Macbook but can't think this is the problem. I've gone through all the links on this forum for adding photos but none shed any light on this problem.
Any ideas?

Have you perhaps already uploaded many photos?

I found I had to delete something before I could upload any more, so now I upload photos to another server, and then link them in using the img tab

There also has been posts from other users with the same message, maybe there is a general problem?

Thanks. I think I'm going to have to use Photobucket and put in a link. I haven't posted any pics previously so I'm not near my limit.

As suggested previously Jim, you may be better off uploading them to a Photo sharing site and then link to them with the img tags (available above the reply box). There are many sites available - I use a site called Postimage.org. Its free and easy to upload to and once uploaded if you click on the "share" icon and copy the "direct" address you can then paste it into your reply between the img tags like this

It's Back!

I get the dreaded "The uploaded file is empty" message when trying to post a photo - tried 2 different ones, including one I've uploaded before - No luck!
