<fact supply> Just the dip beams as far as I can see from the reflection in the garage door </fact supply>

I also note that if I disconnect and immediately reconnect (<3 seconds), the phenomenon doesn’t occur. :smt101 :smt101 :smt120

Hello all, I have a battery isolator somewhere in the cabin!! ; when I replace the red key, the headlamp pods cycle up and down with just the dip beam showing! Cheers from Clive.

I know this thread is a bit old, but,

Changed my battery (S2) yesterday, having read this thread some weeks ago was waiting from some noises at the front, when I reconnected the neg terminal -- and nothing happened. Mine is number 121, may be it happens on later ones, can't imagine why there would be a difference.

Having just tried the lights, only the lh one worked for the first 5 attempts (light switch or flash), but next time, and subsequent, both were working.

Could just be a dry joint on the headlamp electrics! Try disconnecting the two connectors and spay some contact cleaner or switch cleaner (Maplins) into the joiners, worked for me when I had a blinking pod! Clive.
