PM problems

Postby muley » Tue 10.01.2012, 18:37

Hi if I try to send a PM or reply to a PM I get this

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting ')' in /home/sites/32b/0/0c8fd85621/forum/production/phpbb3/cache/queue.php on line 3

Complete mumbo jumbo to me - what could I be doing wrong?

Tks

Hrm, I've seen the same thing a couple of times when replying to forum postss in the last couple of days. I just chocked it up to using an experimental browser on an overclocked PC running Linux. In fact, I got it when posting this reply. Error shows up in browser but reply is posted OK.

I believe it is the same message which is causing the sudden increase in duplicate posts as the original goes in, but looks like it hasn't.

Let's find out. Here's a test reply with a PM chaser to see if it's fixed.

Duplicate thread because error also occurred when submitting and thought it hadn't posted.

I've just experienced the same problem. I've resent my message several times and now have about half a dozen messages in the sent folder. I don't know if the recipient has been able to read them.

And the same problem occurred replying to this thread, hence the duplicate posting above.
