Is anybody else have problems with PM's being stuck in the outbox and not being sent

I have experienced this historically.
I assumed the reason was the usual "user error".

I believe that PM's remain in the outbox until they are read by the recipient. Correct me if I'm wrong LEC admins
PS I still have one for clear indicator lenses sent 5 years ago to leonfoxy

They remain in the outbox until read in the forum software. If the recipient has set it up to get them by email as well, they could well have been read in the email client, but not actually accessed in the Forum - hence they appear to have not been seen, but they have!
