It has been locked except for mods for a few days. I assumed maintenance is going on?

Maintenance WAS going on - I asked for a new section to be created, and have been migrating some of the relevant topics into it. But I was unaware that setting up of it and granting everyone permission to read/write to it were different things. I'll raise it with the powers that be, thanks for the heads-up people.

Only one thought now is that I have a whole raft of 'unread' items relating to Cooling in my not read folder!

Well you can go to just the "Heating and Cooling" section and click the "Mark topics read" link at the upper right corner if you like...

I wasn't being stroppy, it was merely an observation, if it doesn't help then ignore it!

Or you can read them all and transcribe anything useful into the Wiki.... What? WHAT? You're retired and must have loads of spare time on your hands.

...but isn't it just easier to wait until August when you retire? - you'll need something to fill up all the time which you're bound to have free.

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
