I'm currently getting logged out every time I move off the site and have to log in next visit despite ticking the "keep me logged in box". It may be a Firefox issue as I keep also getting a message from them saying that LEC is a potentialy dodgy site and bad things may happen if I choose to go there. Just me or is anyone else suffering?

I've never been able to stay logged in since I joined the forum 12yrs ago!
The security issue you mentioned is known, and is being dealt with by admin, aka Geof, when he finishes sunning himself in Spain. (I believe, allegedly). Just requires renewal of certificate apparently.

Ha! It seems you only have to speak his name for all to be put right. Been in and out three times this morning and not had to log in once. Having put up with consistent log out over the last week or two this was very welcome. Many thanks to whoever did something - even if it was just John's comment!

Have a look at the link you use to get to the web site, if it begins with "http://" you're using an unsecured connection and your login won't carry across sessions. You need to use "https://" for that to happen.
There's a setting on the Server which funnels all requests through HTTPS, but it's not set on LEC.
There's a way around it in Firefox: Settings - Privacy & Security - HTTPS-Only Mode, but it may affect your browsing on other sites.

You're right Ron - the bookmark was HTTP. I've now added the "s" which I hope will help. However the fact is I've been in and out several times today on the old bookmark without needing to login whereas for the last couple of weeks I always had to log back in. Had worked for many years prior to that.
