Erm,

Dico here

I've been threatening to sign my wife up to lec for a while now. Today that opportunity arrived

I tried to change my email address and somehow its gone pear shaped and I can't log on/sign in in my name on either my new or old email address.

Oh, and it just so happens I decided to do it at a time when perhaps I shouldn't have :roll:

Any help from the admins would be greatly appreceiated.
If you could forward any info to - dico4488@yahoo.co.uk (which is my new email address)

Your account needs to be reactivated when changing the email address. I went and changed the username Dico to active. You should now be able to sign in. If you have anymore problems I'll see what I can do.

Hello

Mrs Dico here. After 3 years of being a Lotus 'widow' and coupled with the fact that I spend most of my time (in between watching soaps - according to Mr Dico) looking over Dico's shoulder correcting his spelling, helping him download photo's, looking at photo's of the rest at you at events that I'm not invited to, etc ...... my view is if I can't beat him (around the head) I may as well join the forum!

Where do I start, well how about at the beginning .... about 3.5 years ago Dico decided to buy a Lotus Elan, about a week after having made this momentous decision we discovered we were having a baby. What did Dico do? Put his plans on hold? Decide to buy a MPV? No, after a bit(!) of discussion (well, sort of) decided to go ahead with the Lotus - and there began the love affair.

Well, my maths isn't brilliant (again, according to Dico) but mum + dad + baby = 3, and Lotus 1 seat + 1 seat = 2! and the 2nd seat has a baby seat in it so unless I sit on the roof or fold my 5'2" frame into the boot I've not much chance of experiencing life in the fast lane via the Pacific Blue BBR Beast.

Having said that, as the BBR beast spends most of its time in the garage with either the engine hanging out, the wheels off, or other bits on the garage floor or the engine being polished or bits of blue tube being attached to it I don't think Dico has experienced the exhilaration of 0-60 in 5.5 seconds for a long time (unless its been in Monty's PinkyII)!

Anyway, I'm sure I'm going to enjoy being part of the forum (as long as it doesn't interfere with Coronation Street...!)

As Monty says, we'll have to mind out Ps & Qs now that you're here. Of course, not that there's ever anything but admiration expressed for Paul. (It's his mate Monty you have to watch out for :roll:

hopefully you will realize that this place is kinda like a dirty old man's locker room and not be too easily offended -- I too am to blame at times, but I think we all mean it in a fun, joking, family-type way.

baby Dico is getting big now! can't tell which side he is getting the interesting facial features from??

What is Paul going to drive when he finishes fixing up the Elan for you? :shock:
