Postby kmckmc » Wed 29.08.2007, 16:15

My Elan S2 in Taipei. That tall building in the picture, Taipei 101, was until 2 month ago the tallest building on Earth.

Reference for Taipei 101 building:

TAIPEI 101 holds the records for:
Ground to structural top: 508 m (1667 ft)
Ground to highest occupied floor: 101 floors, 438 m (1437 ft)
Ground to roof: 448 m (1470 ft)

Hi,

http://architecture.about.com/library/bltall.htm

The tallest building should be completed in 2009. It is in Dubai.
Currently, it is under construction; however, the current structure has surpassed that of Taipei 101.

So, technically, my Elan M100 S2 was indeed right next to the tallest completed building.

Cheers,
Elan M100 S2

The Burj Dubai is being built so that it can be added to,so should another building threaten it's status as the world's tallest, it will just go higher.

Awesome sight it is too!
