It is very nice color but they didn't do very good job when they
respray it. So i am thinking to respay anyway the front and the
rear bumpers and the hedlamps in front. Then i thought again
that i will spend the money anyway why to don't respray it in
anonther more open color .
Thats my thoughts but i don't know what to do.
The original color was the pacific blue.
Is it better to keep this color or to repaint it to the original?
Everything in this car i rebuilt it and nothing after market.
Mechanical is new even the engine with only 25000klm from the lotus
dealer.
Only a good repaint is missing and a new leather .
I already have new cooling fans, new carpets, new outer lights bought, new hood seals
and did't put them yet. The only is missing is the A post seals
Does anyone have double to give me? or somewhere used in good condition

Hello John
I'm very new on here but was absolutely stunned by your colour of Elan.

What a lovely looking car!
Keep the Midnight Blue would be my vote.

You will de-value the car if you change the colour (even to the finest colour available !)

NO!
Anything but Medina Green. Midnight Blue is attractive. Why change it?
As for A post seals, Lotus plan to re-introduce these some time "soon".

It's already been changed once
John
Keep it Midnight as there are only 4 I know of so far, none being SE's.
Get a blue roof, S2 wheels and magnolia leather and you will be sorted.

It's got a later style hood, but how do you know it's been changed already?
Still isn't blue though

Beautiful Elan. I would keep her the same color!
