They were only fitted in that form on series 1 UK/ROW cars, the equivalent function on the Feds's and S2's being performed by a much smaller part (lifted from the Esprit iirc) and fitted to the trailing edge with two small machine screws per stop.

Nice. Fuel gauge voltage regulator. I thought it would be obscure enough to take longer for somebody to get it. I guess I underestimated the knowledge on this board.
