Here's an obscure but interesting piece of trivia:  The outgoing Corvette is the last car offered in the USA with pop-up headlamps!

The Corvette mechanism is cool how it spins them up 180 style.  Since I almost never use mine, I'm a big fan of pop-ups which keep the cleaner look of the car better.<br><br>But then again when I was drooling on a Gallardo in La Jolla recently it obviously didn't bother me that it must have headlights out in the breeze.  :-[<br><br>now is it just me or does the Gallardo have some kind of family resemblance with the Elan?<br><br><br>hey, Sy, how about doing your interior like this?<br><br><br>okay enough already . . .  :-[
