Lotus Downunder

Postby Andy C » Sun 02.12.2007, 21:54

Club Lotus Australia Christmas Party and Annual Concourse.

Fun day had by all. The competition was much tougher this year with a great turnout of vehicles. Everything from an immaculate 1959 Elite to a brand new Series 2 Elise R. Unfortunately this year 296 was beaten into first place by an unbelievably immaculate series 1 Elise (blue one 3rd down the row) ... 6000 Kms since new

Eternal rain & very heavy storms for the last week and more - this afternoon's storm was a real bad one - just got the Elan in the garage after an Elanscan session when the tennis ball size hail started.

The trade-off for the summer sunburn & storms is that winter days at 18-20 deg C are just superb.
