Doesn't take long for me to take her back to the shop she's most familiar with.

Sorry but I think all the pink parts need to go. Shift boot and the handbrake gaiter too. Now the steering wheel is nicely wrapped with black alcantera. The OEM shift knob has been replaced with short anatomic shifter from Momo that very afternoon. Many hours spent for detailing the interior. ;-)

The wheels look really nice in person, very exotic looking imho. LGM had same pattern before but in white. It curves out a bit which might make it look funny for some camera angles.

You probably haven't seen another thread under US car for sale :-)

A little  myself too.

Hey Ekkers!

Are you looking for a new home for the steering wheel centre, handbrake gaiter and shift stick gaiter?

Angie wants red leather in hers

I currently have the Elise wheel, so the centre bit should fit
(I have a standard silver one i could part-ex!)
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

go on - click this link - you know you want to!

The red leather piece for my steering wheel center section is already gone. I don't think it's reusable after I took it out from the center section.

The brake gaiter and shifter boot could be yours. I like them in black. Please IM me.

Hi Ekapol,

Do you have any pictures of the Alcantara wheel ? I've just had the seats re-covered in something similar and would like to have this done. Who did it for you ?
Very interested in the detailing work you say you've done in the interior....Lets have some more pictures !! ;-)

It's a good looker 8)

Thank you, Dazzlovski. You could also look at pictures from Stripey thread page 7. There are few pictures of steering wheel and door cards wrapped in Alcantera.

Glad I have them sitting around in my parts bin. Really that everyone should buy these 3 little delrin bits before picking up an Elan.

Also 1st oil change, 3.7 qt of Valvoline full synthetic 10w-30, Purolator Pure One, seal repairing, left side mirror repairing, left door lock, adjusting the clutch cable, loose ground turbo gauge, loose brake line, engine bay detailing :smt026

Any chance of a full-car pic so I can see what the bubble and roll cage look like on the car. I think it will be my one (and only) upgrade.

Thanks in advance.

Again that I micro-detailed the interior on the Red one, still have to do that few more times to be up to my standard though.

Side driver mirror replaced. Rear view mirror fixed. New outter cv-boot passenger side. Tighten up power steering belt. New e-brake boot in black. The list goes on .... :-D

Thank you. Need somebody to help detailing your Evora Doug? :-D

I think I will stick to my day time job, being computer engineer/photographer/day time stock trader.

But let me know if anybody needs help with anything. ;-)

Ekkers

This is not a knocking but an attempt at constructive criticism. I think you could raise the rear bumper a touch to close what appears to be a rather large panel gap between the bumper and the rear wings.
Apart from that she's beginning to take shape.
