Here are some images of the car in various light conditions.
The colour is Cranberry. It can look brown, black or red depending on the lighting conditions !
I have spent some time with the polisher this year and it's really come up a treat.
Thought I'd try some experiments with the camera last night.

I see this car fairly regularly and can confirm it is every bit as good as it looks.

The swirls were removed with Menzerna ip2100, initial polish was Menzerna sf4500. This was applied using a Das6 Pro DA polisher.
For a quick sparkle before a show I use Poorboys black hole.
The car is now only ever washed using the two bucket method.
It's amazing how many swirls are added by one wash with an average sponge and a single bucket !

Love it too

Most unusual colour can't be many around?
Merlot gets two bucket treatment but use Meguiar's product for polishing but very
impressed with the finish of the product used. Will investigate further. Merlot has
recently had some work done correcting some imperfections on bumpers
with fibre glass stress (spider cracks) and respray, looking really good now.

Have a look at this
Good grief, I had no idea washing a car could be so complicated!

Hi John, Hope you are well.
The car has done just over 105,000 miles. I just taxed the car and it's booked in for an MOT next Monday.
Looking forward to putting a few miles on this Summer now that I have put new syncro hubs in the gearbox.
Regards
Alan

Very nice color. Probably the only one M100 in Cranberry?
Which number is it?
