Evergreen Lotus Car Club Fall Drive WA USA

Today I took the Evergreen Lotus Car Club (Pacific Northwest USA) on a 300 mile round trip from Auburn WA to Windy Ridge Mt. St. Helens. It was a fantastic run on 32 miles of twisty roads with almost zero traffic.The weather was typical Northwest Fall with long sun breaks and a little rain on the return trip. All the cars did awesome. We had one each: 63 Elan, Elite, Lortus Cortina, Esprit Turbo, Elan M100, Elise (SC'd) and an Exige. The cars quickly seperated on the windy uphill climb with the Elan M100 and Esprit having turbo and the Elise and Exige with Superchargers. The Elan, Cortina and Elite held up the read and Everyone had a great time. I'll be organizing and leading a few more drives for the club. I found that is one of the most enjoyable parts of any car club membership.
