Having had a few requests from people on here to see the finished article, I took a few pictures of the car during our trip to Exmoor.
It isn't clean and shiney (because i drove it!) and is a tad dusty, but looks okay I suppose.

With due respect, the photos do not do it justice. It needs to be seen in the flesh to truly appreciate the colour.

(but it does look good in the flesh - especially when it's properly clean..... but as I like driving it, by the time I actually get to somewhere worth taking pictures it tends to be less than pristine - bloody sunny, dry English weather - far too much dust about!)

Dave, that's lovely. Well done. However, I feel I've missed something.
Please forgive me, but I thought you used to have a blue one and a red one, and one of them got written off by being swiped outside your house. I know I should know, but where did the black one come from?

PS: the weather has been unbelievably good in Aberdeen also - first time this year we have had a big high pressure area hang about for a while. Great Elan weather.

I don't think I've ever seen an Empire Green Elan for real. I am sure I will get to see this one before long though
