Donington VCD

Postby Costas » Wed 29.03.2006, 21:44

I made a VCD with 5 mpgs from my trip to Dony.

1. The trip to Dony
2. Sh4rk at Dony
3. The parking gathering
4. The exhibition
5. The F1 Museum

Total runtime 35mins, not a DVD Quality but pretty good with soundclips etc.

Will upload those clips in much lesser quality in 2 weeks since I moved to a new home and still waiting for ADSL connection... and have all my PWs and Programs in home PC.

I am going to London this weekend till Tuesday, trying to be as much of a Brit as possible :P so I ll have with me a few copies and whoever want one I can mail it to him while visiting London so it will take 1-2 days to reach him.

If anyone is interested PM me your mail account.

Costas

PS Chris and Jim, I need your mail account as well to send you the original MPGs

By the way,

I have to narrate the part with the Ferrari and Lamborghini.

We were cruising on the Autostrada with 150km/h on middle lane and had strict instruction by Greg not to push the Car on the entire trip and especially on top speeds. :?

I looked at my rear view mirror and saw the characteristic look of the Ferrari (Modena?) closing by, as soon as it passed me I couldnt resist and stack my front bumper to his rear, he accelerated untill 200km/h and when he realized he couldnt gain distance he just pulled over....! Not a minute passed (even the song that is palying on the car's cd-player is the same "Deep Purple-Highway star") and a wide-low profile car was coming agrresively towards us. I moved to the middle lane again at 150 km/h and as soon as it passed and realized it was a Lamborghini Murcielago I switched to high Boost (1.6bar) stack my front bumper to his rear and accelerated. Its noticeable on the short video that I am gaining distance and actually my bumper comes as close as a couple of inches away from the Lambos. I did accelerate from 150 to 220 km/h then had to quit for engine precautious reasons, but the great part is that the Lambo driver was so pissed that this little strange car was filling his rear view mirror that he pressed the pedal to the medal from 220km/h and the engine sound is music to the ears. Therefore the joyfull yelling at the video :-D

I would be able to keep up till 260 but that would be end of story anyways. Was great FUN!
