No! Not even Hethel could choose a crap name like that! Wasn't that the name of the bike they did for Chis Boardman and co?

I suppose that's so we can have our cake and eat it! :-D

After their Eclair wind-up, Evo prove they can get it right...

Ooh, not sure about this... good thing?

I'm confused, because I found websites alluding to the Evo mischief (which I still can't see from behind this corporate firewall) BTW.

If you look at the Colours picture (from Evo) that I posted earlier. The nearest poster has an area blacked out in its bottom right hand corner.
There's a conspiracy theory abounding that it's the new Esprit... with some claiming that you can just see the ESP...

The link to the articleyou posted Sy has some other interesting info. If you look at the spec listings on the right side you'll see some timelines for variants with the Esprit mentioned in 2011. To me this might indicate that an Esprit will be built on the Eclair (oops, I mean Evora) platform. This would be consistent with their multi-use platform direction.

The seat pics appear to be of the Recaro Sportster CS- very nice choice.

LOTUS EVORA TIMELINE
• First variant late 2009 - presentably that's a variant of this original, 2+0 (as Lotus call it)?
• Second variant 2010 - Paddle shift or Supercharged version?
• Convertible late 2011 - Best we get saving then!
• Esprit early 2011 - If this is true the Esprit boys might not be too happy. I think they want a whole new car not a derivative. Perhaps this is the Supercharged version?
