This does not bode well for the future car development.... unless they plan on water (hydrogen) powered sportscars, would require enough filtration though to allow it to run on tapwater - now that would be cool (and green).

Could be worse, on a recent trip to the Seven Valley (Steam) railway with my son, I happened to notice a single energy saving light blub in the coal heated waiting room, whilst waiting for my steam powered train

i hope lotus are not buliding it themselves..
it will be over budget,
take years to build and design..
bankrupt the company..
and then need to be recalled for various tweeks...
chin chin..

Maybe so, but the turbine blades will spin at unheard-of speed thanks to their efficient, ultra-lightweight design. Unfortunately, they'll snap the first time they whack a passing sparrow...
And of course, they'll be rescued and rebuilt by someone on this list.
