As for the vibration, mine too recently developed a vibration around 60 mph and while accelerating. Was that the same symptom you had?
I checked the shafts quickly, they don't look that bad in my own opinion but I am not a shaft specialist so ... The straight short shaft bearing on the right side might be a little loose, but again I don't know as I have no reference. Should it be radially rock solid?
(Incidentally, where did you find your shafts?

)
Symptoms happened on acceleration between 50 and 70mph (80 and 112kph). If you look at WSM Section FF13 Page 35, these symptoms are described as being caused by worn INNER joints, not the outer CV joints which when worn "click" on full lock. Very difficult to check the fault by hand. I just trusted my judgement that both inner joints needed replacing. I am sure there is a way to tell which side is bad, but I don't know it!!! Anyone???
Parts are still listed at SJ Sportscars under: transmission: final drive. They list both sides, either full shafts, or half shafts which are the inner joint and shaft only without the CV joint/stub axle for the hub bearing.
Also check that the big block at the back of the engine, which holds the intermediate (jack) shaft bearing is tight. This is held on with 2 bolts into the engine block on your passenger side. These bolts can work loose and result in the jack shaft vibrating a bit. Tighten to torque setting the 2 bolts (17mm spanner I think).
Also check the obvious of tyre balance and wheels not buckled. If it is only on acceleration it probably is the driveshaft(s).
Bon courage mon ami!!!
