"...how I recall things happening and how they actually happened are at significant variance."

Sums it up - easy reading ramblings, but a bit like a conversation in a pub with someone recounting a story they can't quite remember.

"I also suspect that it’s considerably lighter than the Isuzu turbo motor, because while I remember nothing but varying shades of understeer from the Lotus Elan, you can neutralise the Kia’s propensity to wander wide of the apex just by shutting down the throttle. "

I don't believe he's ever driven an M100 as he's talking such utter 'bollox' ...

Good appraisal here ... Motorweek Youtube review

3mins 20s - "unlike other front-drive cars, plough (understeer) is very mild" ... "full use of the throttle produces a response similar to the power-on oversteer that would be experienced in a rear-drive car" .. Yup, that's the M100 I know and love!
Phil

Leave me alone, I think I know what I'm doing.
Cars: Subaru Forester 2.5XTN, Eclat Riviera, brace of Pacific Blue SE's, Collapso SE, Elan+2S.... and now an Evora
