Somehow, the setting got switched from yes to no for PMs. It is fixed now, but I get way too many PMs and my 200 PM limit fills up every few weeks and then PMs get held up without me knowing the quota is exceeded again.

Back in 2007 a group buy was organised to manufacture some specifically for our cars. they were laser cut from some sort of rubber material, and are about 3 or 4 mm thick. Simply bonded onto the inner lip of the wheelarch and extremely 'stealthy'. I have them on my car and they are not at all noticable - probably because of the colour and small external profile.

I believe that they were only ever made the once, but I presume that the drawings for them must be about somewhere. (If not, I still have a set in the garage which I never got round to fitting, so a set of templates could be made if someone had the time/skills/inclination) - before anyone asks, they are NOT for sale

Just so the group DOESN'T feel ripped off, the Lotus version flaps are not just a flat piece of rubber to screw on your wing.

They are molded, reinforced and excessively over-engineered. They also come with the installation hardware and instructions as to where to place them and how to install them.
They have spacers molded in so you are not squeezing the rubber and a metal plate to better support them.

Bottom Line: You gets what you pays for!

Extra note: The front and rear kits have the same flaps inside, but they have different mounting kits.

If anyone wants to buy the rear kits I have to put on their front wings, the FLAPS will fit the front but the install kit will not work for the fronts.

I can send a picture of the install kit parts with the flaps as well as a copy of the front installation instructions.

I was looking at that thread, they look a bit small and flimsy and I wondered how effective they really were. I'll stick with the ones Lotus intended. I'd always rather get original parts where possible.

I have a set of lotus originals on the red car i have for sale ..
was tempted to take them off and fit them to my S2 but when BCN came along with the answer of new ones i was very pleased .
And i am still very pleased . I know what we are getting and they are good solid pieces of kit .
