If anyone knows or hears of the availability of suitable material for printing seals please let me know.
My son has made one printer which produces quite complex items to close tolerances. He is now
constructing a much larger printer which could probably print seals.
I asked him if he knew of an available rubber substitute. He didn't.

I assume that your son has a filament printer. This melts a plastic rod and builds up the model from the molten plastic through a nozzle.
To my knowledge no soft / rubber-like materials are available in a quality (if any) that is suitable for door rubbers.

There's already a "guy" (whose name I can't remember offhand) who has made clear front indicator lens for the Elan at a reasonable price. More importantly, the materials required to make a DOT or European approved lens aren't available through 3D printing. 3D printed items tend not to have the same strength as a molded piece of plastic and I suspect that the first good hit by a stone might crack or shatter them.
