Is the data lost, or otherwise won't be shared?

I guess it's easier to pull the plug than to remove a phrase from text or a graphic, sure. Shame to waste the work, though. I'm sure you've bounced through all this in your head though.

I (not the Mods) asked John (politely) to remove the affiliation phrase. My reasoning is that no site is any more important to LEC than any other site. Affiliation suggest endorsement, that had neither been asked for nor granted.
What John chose then to do with the Register is entirely up to him.

Your previous post (22 Sep 2013 13:18) may not be an attempt to overthrow anyone, but lets' not kid ourselves, it's an attempt to get things more aligned to your wants and needs and to facilitate your apparent quest for self-importance.
We have a perfectly good membership ethos. We've survived for many years (in various guises) before your involvement and we'll continue to survive whether you hang around under the present and continuing regime or not. So, if there's to be any attitude change, it is you who needs to do some close self-examination.
I grow increasingly tired of the things I see and hear from you and, whilst I'm reluctant to ask this of you, it was you who said to me (somewhat melodramatically) recently "If you want me to go away, just ask. I will cancel my account."
I sincerely hope that it doesn't come to this, but rest assured, the moderators continue to have my full support in all that they do and we will not be reviewing any LEC modus operandi in the near future.
There's a bottom line here, I don't think I need to spell it out to you.
