J498BCL where are you

Postby Mark4323 » Fri 08.02.2008, 11:50

Hi All,

new to the forum. Looking at all the Elan photos brings a tear to my eye.

I used to own an M100 in the UK, Nofolk Mustard with number plate J498BCL (bloody classy Lotus). I really miss that car.

If anyone knows of her whereabouts I'd love to hear from them.

regards,

Mark

Sorry, no mention of it in the database.

I do want to. I'm in Australia now. Cars here have higher residuals than in the UK. It might have to be a 5 year plan to get one.

I used to have an SMTS model as well but that got lost in transit. Does anyone know of where they can be purchased? SMTS doesn't have them any more.

In the WikiLEC it would be interesting to have a section on publications covering the Elan.

Indeed, it is in Kent.

I bought it around 2008 and have had it since. However, moving to London, with no garage, so selling it through UK Sports Cars.

Did you say you were in Australia? Ironically, probably moving to Melbourne.

Best
