It failed on windscreen wipers and torn CV Boot.
Also the new expansion tank that I bought from ebay is cracked right around the middle.
I gave the old one away because it looked dirty, Am I correct in saying they come from a vauxhall Nova?

I recall seeing that they are from a Nova & also that OEM replacements are now obsolete.
I think the only replacements available have a weakness around the weld, or at the curve at the back/bottom. Several of our US members in particular have had problems with them.
I am considering an Aluminium replacement from
Coolexperts. A bit pricy but less likely to fail.

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it
...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Car now passed MOT.
Don't know the cost yet as I don't pick it up till tomorrow!!!

Added another 500 miles over the last 14 months. It's a sin, I need to get it out more!!
