Doh .. he was too .. must learn to read before posting
Exige was also a local delivered vehicle .. I purchased it from the original owner about 3 years ago with 13,000 km's on the clock (about 8,000 miles) .. it's just ticked over 35,000 km's. Awesome car, I love it. It is one of the last NA's imported into Aust .. after 2005 they were all supercharged. It is currently leading in class in the State Supersprint Championships.
So... the question is: Is it better or worse since you left it?
Must be a strange feeling, stepping into the drivers seat again!
I only picked it up last night and drove about 15km's home in the rain. It hasn't had a timing belt change for 8 years, so don't really want to drive it more until that has been done. The previous owner (who was the guy I sold it to) has only done 20,000 km's (about 12,000 miles), so it hasn't had a lot of use. Only real thing I noticed it that it needs a really, really, REALLY good clean.
It certainly feels "different" after the driving the Exige. The steering is heavier, the brakes don't really inspire confidence and the gear shift is nowhere near as crisp, however it certainly is easier to get in and out of... and I can fit stuff in the boot!
