My intermittent wipers only work intermittently!
Now that you have all finished rolling on the floor laughing, I shall explain
Whilst I fully realise that they should go intermittently, which I would have loved them to do this morning, they don't. Sometimes they were and other times they didn't want to play at all, so my simple question is should I be looking at a relay to sort this, or would that be a problem with the stalk on the steering column? All of the other wiper functions work fine. (Couldn't resist my opening line though, if only to raise a smile on a damp day!)

I would suggest the stalk first. Particularly if you switch straight past intermittent to continuous and that works.
Mine had failed when I bought the car - got another stalk from a Mk3 Astra at the scrappy and it has been fine ever since.
