I have been coping for over 7 years now, so I expect things to return to "normal" once the chemo does it's thing.

Thanks.

While I really appreciate all the good wishes I am receiving, both here and by email, I only posted about the treatments so Shift Cable buyers would not worry if I was slow responding to their questions. I just wanted to assure everyone that I wasn't absconding with their hard earned cash.

The version of leukemia that I have been gifted with is quite common and except for some lifestyle changes, not much needs to happen until it flares up and they do a multi-month cycle of chemo to get my white blood cells back to a more normal function.

I have been going to the NIH in Maryland (around 8 hours away) for testing and treatments for over 6 years and I am rarely away for more than 3 or 4 days at a time, but the chemo can make me tired, so it takes a little effort to get a full cable / short-shift kit assembled and shipped.

So, THANK YOU for all of your good wishes. I will still try to be on LEC frequently and answer anything I think I have an answer for, and I will continue to provide the up-rated cable kits for anyone that needs them.

Cheers!

John is not only a very knowledgeable and frequent poster on LEC, he's been incredibly kind and helpful to me and I'm glad he's getting the appreciation he has earned and deserves. Best wishes through this unenviable time.
