M100 on Top Gear

Postby pineapplecharm » Thu 19.05.2016, 16:00

I knew about the original review from 1990 but only recently became aware that the M100 turns up in a 'British sports car' feature at the end of Series 15.

A few laughs in there, not least the unfortunately familiar window tribulations. Funny that when it's a car you own you immediately start thinking about how you'd fix it. Come on, man! It's probably just the butterfly clip...

To be honest I actually found the whole window issue on the Top Gear program a little hard to swallow as I've never had this happen to mine, I have had the windows out to replace the weather strips and they were a beggar to work on but now they are back in they have worked a treat ever since.
And that will be the kiss of death on it and they'll be failing all over the place now

The Top-Gear Season 15 M100 - TVR - Jensen "Tribute" combined two segments are also available from the Manuals list (link below). It is a BIG file but it does eventually load as an MP4 file.

Nice, Giniw! Although I can see why they cut it!

Rob, don't tempt fate. Remember what the acronym LOTUS stands for!

Interesting to watch...and the other excerpts. But I noticed that the clips are mirror image, presumably to differentiate them from the real broadcasts.

It turns out I drive an ATAS a then, not a LOTUS! (the A stands for always)

Think this ones just been on Dave. Flicked over and just saw the end with a yellow M100 in the studio.
