Came across
this site which seems to drill down into the MoT failure data. Brakes are top of the list for 40-50k cars... whodathunkit?
Typically 70-80% pass rate from 30k to 200k. Up to 100% over 200k, but there are only 2 cars.

I put 2 through the MOT last week both passed so keeping the average up.
I was on looking for your MOT emissions flowchart but couldn't find the thread. I might have something to add.

79% pass rate - hopefully I can increase that slightly when the Green Monster goes in for MoT tomorrow. Can’t get used to it being in the middle of August after the extension last year.

All well!
I have a ticket for another year; no advisories. CO 0 (max 0.200); HC 7 (200); lambda 1.02 (0.97 to 1.03).
1995 S2 with original catalyst.
Just need to get the passenger window back in and all will be well

If that was a Police car or a London Taxi it would have been a fail

Never seen a British Racing Green police car, Les, but there’s always a first time . . .
My excuse is that a) I’ve been waiting for parts I didn’t think I’d need, and b) I’ve done my back in. Hopefully this week.

CO = zero. That must be a 1st ?. I thought my black SE was low at 0.17% And only 7 ppm HC's. Wow

Same reading as last year! And back to 2017
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=25947&start=20#p329437And I was chatting to Adrian while he did the readings, so I know the engine was running

He was frustrated though because he couldn’t identify the vehicle from which I’d taken my ashtray-mounted remote boot and fuel releases. (Got it in the end, though: Mk 1 Audi TT).
