Like Christmas eve.... Only better!

Postby Hector2021 » Thu 15.09.2022, 21:00

After i dont know how many years of toying with the idea of owning one, tonight is the eve of collection day. Ive only viewed 2 begore this one but i realised enough to raise my budget a little (kids can eat beans on toast) to get something a bit better and less used looking. I cant ecplain just how giddy i feel. Doubt i will even sleep tonigh.
Ill put up some proud pictures over the weekend. :D

I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures. It will be great to have a new owner on here.

Ok, a few days have passed since Christmas Eve, but i have had niggles trying to post any pictures to share my new found distraction from everything including work and the girlfriend. I managed to find a hosting site that seems to work, so here are a few pics of the yellow peril:

I'm sure its all a bit of a yawn to those who have already enjoyed these cars for several years, but there's always someone arrives late to the party and has to catch up on the boozed up conversations. Four new tyres are the first task to deal with (now i have discovered its still wearing two that are 18 years old!), then the erasing of the cone filter and dump valve to be replaced by an original dustbin filter.

Very nice!!

I would put back the original filter airbox too but would consider keeping the dump valve as it's better for the turbo?

Since feeling your enthusiasm nearly a year ago I've come to the conclusion that, of course, we love our own - but we love all the others as well :D.
Enjoy your early Christmas pressie :)
Special colour too...

Ooh...your outside and my inside. I wonder if we could breed from them?
