Super excited to be going to Austin next month for my first Grand Prix. I intended to go last year but Ticketmaster had a bit of a kerfluffle with my tickets and they never arrived. The wife and I are turning it into a mini-vacation and checking out Austin and San Antonio all weekend except Sunday when she'll head to the museum and park with the kids while I indulge my only sporting indulgence (I don't watch any other sports at all, never got into it). Anyone else going?

Nice one.
Still annoyed at missing Spa this year due to a family get together, I only work 45 minutes away!
Enjoy and post some pics.

I wish I was. Will be a good time for sure. I love both San Antonio and austin. Great food spots around town for both. When in austin, must do gordoughs doughnut. Insane place for sure. There are some greT BBQ spots tgere too. Not that big a fan of salt lick but it some really like it. More a fan of Lockhearts. Ironworks isn't bad either. Great ribs.

Never knew there were so many different donuts out there, here we mainly get either cream or jam (jelly)
Hope you get a good GP it looks likely to be epic.

So glad you mentioned this place - it was terrific and the kids loved it too! Kicks the crap out of Voodoo Donuts for sure.
