Will a standard beaver tail work for 'rescuing' my track Elan? I suspect not.
The reason why there's been no update on the Flying Cat thread is that the car's been locked up in a unit all Summer and the guy (supposed friend) whose been housing it and helping me on an ad-hoc basis has vanished off the face of the Earth.
Saturday is Cat rescue day with a bunch of heavies and a beaver tail (planned).

WTF is a beaver tail? Is that to turn the ignition key?
If it is a track car, you could just break the steering lock and tow it, or hot-wire it as well! Sounds like a job for Arron......

I initially thought that the subject line was wrong and you had meant "bite of beaver" and I was going to refer you to the guy with the analogy between brussels sprouts and pubic hairs in his profile and then ask you to censor yourself.

You might be lucky, and get it straight up... 
Or take some extra ramps (planks???) and some blocks (bricks???) to extend the run up. Don't forget your crowbar and boltcutters, tis traditional when turning up with a beaver and heavies for vehicular removal activities...
Oh, and cloth caps, and the music from the computer tape switch sequence from "The Italian Job".
